I was invited to speak at the technical panel of the Online Voting Roundtable held in Ottawa. The event was organized by the Center for e-Democracy and Center for International Policy Studies to coincide with the parliamentary Special Committee on Electoral Reform’s (ERRE) public consultation process. The event was attended by the Minister for Democratic Reform, senior Canadian and international election officials, and a diverse set of stakeholders. The talk was originally aired on CPAC.
Talk Highlights:
- Hacking a de-certified American AVS Winvote touchscreen voting machine
- A TLS-stripping attack on the New South Whales iVote practice website
